Our Digital Marketing Training Course fuses all of the major tried and tested methods of digital marketing into a specially constructed workflow designed to help you fully understand how to market and promote your business online.
Part business discovery, part technical training, our digital marketing course will take you through all of the main digital marketing techniques, with a specific focus on your business itself.
Taught live, online and on a one-to-one basis, our experienced trainer will discuss with you the various digital marketing techniques you can employ, and how you can weave SEO, competitor analysis, keyword research, email marketing, backlinks and the use of social media into a coherent marketing strategy that will ensure your business gets the exposure it deserves.
Our Digital Marketing Course begins with a detailed discussion of your business venture from a marketing perspective, during which we examine what products and/or services you are planning to sell, and the best way to represent and promote them via your website and social media channels. We examine your main competitors, looking at how successfully they promote their products and services, with a view to discovering your own specific niche and USP (Unique Selling Proposition) that will ensure you stand out against your competitors in the marketplace. Our social media module continues the discovery process, seeking to unveil how you can best utilise Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and some of the newer platforms to leverage your selling proposition.
Breaking off from our Digital Marketing course, we segue into our SEO course, with a specific focus on gathering the most relevant key phrases for you to use on your web pages and blog posts. Finding the right key phrases is crucial, as your web page titles and content should target these key phrases specifically in order to achieve 'organic' search listings. During this process we will uncover many 'long-tail' and 'chunky-middle' key phrases that can be used to support your website SEO. At this point, we usually begin constructing a 'sitemap' of the pages your website will contain, allocating the most pertinent key phases to the relevant pages, thereby building up a coherent structure for your website that will garner the best organic search rankings possible. We then move on to demonstrating exactly how and where to put these key phrases into your page titles, heading tags and content, as well as image file naming conventions, slug/url filenames, meta descriptions and other important SEO optimisations.
Returning to our Digital Marketing course, we discuss the importance of Email Marketing, with a specific focus on how to implement email subscription through your website using several WordPress plugins from Mailchimp. We also tour the Mailchimp service itself, looking at how to best build a subscriber mailing list. This is followed by our Blog Posts and Backlinks module, where we discuss the relevance of having a news or blog posts section on your website, and how the key phrases we compiled in our SEO course can best be injected into your blog posts. The importance of link building is also explained, plus some techniques on how to get the best backlinks for your business. A detailed look at how to wire your website into Google Analytics, plus a look at GA itself concludes this module.
Finally, we finish off with five modules each dedicated to social media, during which we invite specific experts on these platforms to explain how best to utilise them to promote your business venture.
