WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. Since it's inception in 2003, WordPress has grown to become one of the largest self-hosted Content Management Systems (CMS) and blogging tools in the world, used on hundreds of thousands of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day. WordPress is completely customizable and can be used for almost anything. It is also an 'Open Source' project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it - more than most commercial platforms. It also means you are free to use it for anything you like without paying anyone a license fee. For all of these reasons (and many more), WordPress is now the platform of choice whenever a quick, robust content managed or blogging solution is required.
However, installing and mastering the software and it's many uses can initially be a daunting task. This one day intensive course gives you a complete and detailed overview of WordPress: from downloading and installing the software, through learning how to use it quickly and effectively, to customising Wordpress and highlighting some the options open to you for expanding on it's possibilities and potential. The perfect course for those looking to master the software with the minimum amount of time and expense.

Software Versions: All of our Adobe courses include lessons generic to CS3, CS4 and CS5 versions of the Adobe suite: whichever version you use is covered in detail. Our Apple training courses utilise Final Cut Studio HD (also known of as version 3 or FCS 2009).
Equipment: Our fully featured training room includes six top-of-the-range iMac computers configured to work in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC (Windows) modes, ensuring you the maximum familiarity with your chosen operating system.
