There are few in the industry that doubt the power of Adobe Photoshop to produce and edit high-quality images for print and graphic design purposes; Photoshop has been the de-facto software of choice for these industries for over 20 years now. Additionally, since the advent of the Internet, Photoshop has also undergone several transformations and upgrades in order to expand it's capabilities for producing optimized web graphics and web site templates, and to many this expansion has been a confusing one. How can Photoshop be best utilized to create images for the web? How can one most accurately optimize an image? And how can Photoshop's various splicing tools, masks, layers and other functions be most effectively (yet simply) utilized to achieve impressive results on any website? All of these questions and more are addressed and solutions provided for on our Photoshop for the Web training course.
With a specific view to the utilization of Photoshop as a web graphics creation and editing tool, this course teaches you the specific techniques that web designers use to produce impressive web imagery, and how best to optimize your images for use on websites and within email campaigns. A variety of techniques are explained, from creating web banners, backgrounds, buttons and logos and how best to utilize selections and masks in your image work, to how to export your images into Dreamweaver (or other CMS tools such as WordPress) and especially how to best slice your images into web site templates complete with HTML. This intensive and highly creative course ensures that you find yourself well on the way to making the utmost of Photoshop for all of your current and ongoing web design needs.

Software Versions: All of our Adobe courses include lessons generic to CS3, CS4 and CS5 versions of the Adobe suite: whichever version you use is covered in detail. Our Apple training courses utilise Final Cut Studio HD (also known of as version 3 or FCS 2009).
Equipment: Our fully featured training room includes six top-of-the-range iMac computers configured to work in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC (Windows) modes, ensuring you the maximum familiarity with your chosen operating system.
