Please note that this course has been designed specifically for those who have already decided that they wish to use Adobe Flash and Flash Media Server for their video deployment and would like to learn exactly how to achieve this. If however you are unsure of how you would like to deploy your video content, or you would like to learn of other alternatives to using Adobe Flash (such as HTML 5 and/or YouTube, Vimeo etc.) then please see our Web Video Techniques course.This course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to deliver media over the internet using Flash. Topics include: using pre-built components with Actionscript; using high-quality encoding techniques, including the new high definition video codec; creating live video; controlling sound volume and panning; and delivering social networking (chat) messaging. This course will focus on delivering the best experience possible with Flash Professsional, exploring bandwidth issues, progressive downloading, and streaming with the Flash Media Server. This course is for developers with experience in Adobe Flash Professional. To get the most from this course, you should have plenty of Flash experience, some experience with Actionscript 3, and experience working with media.

Software Versions: All of our Adobe courses include lessons generic to CS3, CS4 and CS5 versions of the Adobe suite: whichever version you use is covered in detail. Our Apple training courses utilise Final Cut Studio HD (also known of as version 3 or FCS 2009).
Equipment: Our fully featured training room includes six top-of-the-range iMac computers configured to work in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC (Windows) modes, ensuring you the maximum familiarity with your chosen operating system.
