21newmedia offer a core training course in Acrobat Acrobat Professional for print professionals. The course includes everything you need to both create and edit high quality, print-ready PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional and Acrobat Distiller.
Acrobat Professional added a host of new features including better preflighting, preflight droplets, colour separation previews, colour conversion, ink management, trapping presets, JDF, adding printer marks and more, so whether you have been using a previous version of this software or you are complete beginner, this course content will satisfy your workflow needs and get you proficient with this essential modern publishing tool.
This is an ideal one-day course designed for those who need to produce high quality pdfs for artwork delivery for Digital and Litho Printing from applications such as QuarkXPress and Adobe Creative Suite.Distiller settings, PDF/X and PDF Colour management will be discussed in detail.

Software Versions: All of our Adobe courses include lessons generic to both CS3 and CS4 versions of the Adobe suite: whichever version you use is covered in detail. In addition, we also now preview the functionality of the new Adobe CS5 suite. Our Apple training courses utilise the latest versions of Final Cut Studio HD (also known of as version 3 or FCS 2009).
Equipment: Our fully featured training room includes six top-of-the-range iMac computers configured to work in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC (Windows) modes, ensuring you the maximum familiarity with your chosen operating system.
