New River Village - Interactive Information Kiosk System
We are asked by St James Homes to create a free-standing interactive information kiosk system where both visitors and tenants could quickly gain access to local information, news and services.
Designed and developed in Macromedia Director, our kiosk system operated via an animated touch-screen interface, providing the user with access to information on local restaurants, tube services, maps and business listings, which were retrieved via broadband live from directory services such as Yell.com and the London Underground website. The kiosk system was also duplicated onto several other floor standing units and has provided years of faultless operation.
