21st Century New Media is the central hub in our trio of training websites, offering a wide variety of graphic design and web development training courses. From learning the fundamentals of web design in our HTML and Dreamweaver training courses, students gain a solid grasp of the techniques involved in building sophisticated websites from the ground up. Our graphics courses include several different variations of Photoshop and a comprehensive two-day Adobe Illustrator course. Web animation is thoroughly explored in our three day Adobe Flash course, whilst the dark art of video editing is conquered in our popular Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut Pro training courses. In addition to these vital courses, we also teach an exciting selection of web marketing courses including SEO Optimisation, Internet Marketing, Google Adwords and Social Media. Further courses include Web Hosting, Web Business, Web Databases, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax, plus several courses designed to enable designers to fully master the potential of the popular CMS web site building software known as WordPress. One of our earliest in-house web development projects, 21stCentury.co.uk was originally conceived of as a Science and Technology news portal, offering a steady stream of technical news and commentary from around the world. Originally launched in the late 1990s, 21stCentury.co.uk rode the technology wave to become a huge success at the turn of the millennium, garnering hosts of reviews and awards from many of the leading review websites and magazines of the time and enjoyed a stratospheric volume of web traffic in the early 00's. The site was later remodelled and went through a variety of changes during the decade although it was unfortunately closed down when the design arm of the business was sold in the mid 00's. 21stCentury.co.uk was finally resurrected this year and is currently in its re-development phase.


21CTV.com

A new and exciting aspect of the company currently undergoing development, 21CTV.com is our film and video production arm within which we plan to produce documentaries, drama, action and comedy that will be insightful, thought-provoking, stimulating and challenging - a new TV channel that will make for compulsive viewing. Although we are sworn to secrecy, we can however tell you that we already have an experienced director at the helm and a well-known actor confirmed for presenting our first show - a documentary exploring the subject of Quantum Physics, UFOs, dreams, ancient mysteries & civilizations, the paranormal and other popular 'fringe science' subjects. So stay tuned!

The second and newest arm of our trio of training websites, 21BIZ focuses on business and Microsoft Office training courses, offering a variety of business related courses designed to assist those in running their business operations. Currently our main training courses for this website include the popular Microsoft Office applications suite including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Publisher. We are planning however to greatly expand this range over the coming months to include a variety of business and marketing related courses, plus some unusual courses designed to assist business in a variety of ways: from stocks and shares, mortgages and finances, to business marketing, promotion and publicity. We also plan to support local small businesses in Hertfordshire by way of a business directory and consultancy service.

Elstree Film School

The third and final arm in our trio of training websites, The Elstree Film School offers a variety of film production and scriptwriting courses, as well as film lighting training, movie making courses and TV production training. Courses currently include: An Introduction to the Film Industry, Digital Video Cameras, Film & TV Scriptwriting and a Comedy Scriptwriting course. In addition to these vital courses, we also offer a comprehensive selection of video editing and production courses, including three varieties of Final Cut Pro training courses and Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects training courses. An ideal selection of courses for those looking to either break into the TV and Film industry, or to return to the field after some time way, The Elstree Film School is an exciting division of the company, undergoing rapid growth and already popular with the Studios staff and tenants.


Elstree Film Talent

A spin-off of the Elstree Film School, Elstree Film Talent is a social network where those in the industry can promote their news to our audience of students and delegates and in turn where our alumni can seek out opportunities that may exist for them in the industry. Although a relatively new innovation, the Elstree Film Talent website already enjoys some notable members including Virgin Media Shorts, 100 Prints, Cinephonix, Star Now and the Royal Television Society. Many of our members are already posting news of their film festivals, shoots and film making opportunities and the site has already been acknowledged as a unique and unusual website – offering publicity and promotion to its members free of charge and in a secure corporate setting. Plans are also underway to produce a regular newsletter and printed magazine to promote local talent in and around Elstree Film Studios.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Creative Herts

Similar in essence to our other popular social network Elstree Film Talent, Creative Herts offers an environment where creative people based in and around the Hertfordshire area can get in touch with other like minds for collaboration and informal business networking. All types of creative people are welcome, from musicians, performers, singers and composers, to actors, actresses, film crew and cameramen, as well as of course the more traditional creative types of writers, artists and poets! Creative Herts perhaps performs the most vital function of providing a forum to those creative people who, by the nature of their art, perhaps rarely have an opportunity to connect to their public, and to this end we plan a variety of social engagements designed to facilitate the networking process, including club meetings, networking events and an inter-member newsletter. We are also planning to produce a printed magazine for distribution around Hertfordshire with a view to promoting the unknown wealth of talent and innovation that exists in this beautiful area.


Clifford White Music

Our Creative Director Clifford White is also an award-winning composer, recording artist and producer whose most recent album Atlantis was voted the number one New Age music album of 2010. Producing music way back in the early 80's, Clifford's first album Ascension (composed and produced entirely by Clifford when he was just 17!) became a worldwide best-seller for record label New World Music, establishing Clifford as one of the UK's top electronic music producers and performers of his time. 12 albums on and Clifford is still going strong - his website covers his history and progress, plus news, reviews and clips of all of his albums plus his entire catalogue of CD's are now available for purchase and via MP3 download via his website. Plus there is some exiting news... Clifford's music will shortly be available on the iPhone, iPad and Android platforms, so stay tuned!
